dad was hoping for a 1/11/11 baby but baby lucas decided to arrive a bit later on 1/17/11 (1 day after his due date). he's already taking after mommy who likes to be just a 'little bit' late. and although he was late, mom's epidural worked this time and lucas arrived after 4 good pushes.

a rare moment when lucas has his eyes open.
sophia loves her baby brother but has her transition moments which so far, include:
1) talking like a baby ("hi bae brotha. i a baby") but only when she's around mommy and daddy
2) crazy loud crying fits when it's time to go to bed and she can't see mommy or daddy
3) outright refusal to go to bed even when it's way past her bedtime
4) crazy loud crying fits if anyone takes away or touches anything that is deemed her's (this includes any type of food or toy)
